How to safely use Ibogaine
1. BEFORE INITIATION
- Have your heart, liver and kidneys medically checked. These organs will suffer the most, so they have to be in good working condition. Also ask your doctor for blood picture, EEG and EKG, and check of your lungs. If any of above organs doesn't perform well, then initiation shouldn't be undertaken.
- Visit your psychiatrist and ask him about his opinion of your past and present mental health. People with psychosis, schizophrenia, depression and such illnesses or syndromes shouldn't do initiation.
- Initiation can be extremely tiring, so it's forbidden for weak, older people, and pregnant women.
2. THE DAY BEFORE
- 12 hours before initiation don't use any opiates (Heroin, Methadone...) or other drugs (cocaine, marihuana, ecstasy, and alcohol, LSD...)
- Set the last dose of your drug of choice so that you'll have withdrawal symptoms in the morning of initiation.
- Put Ibogaine into capsules, and breath your intent into it (put capsules in front of you and concentrate on what you expect to happen - for example: concentrate to meet God, or concentrate on life without drugs - and transfer this energy to Ibogaine).
- Never forget that Ibogaine is not an ordinary drug, so respect him!!
- Set the place for initiation: it should be quiet and darkened. You won't like light and sounds during initiation)
- Don't eat anything before Ibogaine!
- In the morning, when you start feeling abstinence syndromes, take 2 tablets of MEDRAMINE (pills against sea-sickness)
- Wear loose, comfortable clothes.
- One hour after MEDRAMINE, eat all of your Ibogaine in capsules.
- Do not move - moving causes vomiting; the best is that you lay down and wait for Ibogaine effects.
- When Ibogaine starts working in you - just surrender to him! Do not resist! Let him take you wherever he wants, he'll bring you back!!
- Whatever happens - don't panic!
4. NEXT DAYS
- If you can't sleep - use herbal sleeping pill.
- Workout; improve your physical condition.
- Don't drive a car until your body is under complete control.
- Drink a lot (even if you don't feel like drinking) in order not to dehydrate. Spring water is the best.
- Start eating healthy food.
- If you have pain in knees or legs, if your hair stands on end, if you feel hot or you shiver, if you feel exhausted, if you're yawning - don't worry, this are not abstinence withdrawal syndromes. These are effects of Ibogaine cleaning your body.
- If you're in a bad mood, bored or angry - don't worry, this will pass in a day or two. This are also manifestations of Ibogaine cleaning your spirit.
- If need to use drugs appears - suppress it! Suppression is now MUCH easier that after first use of drugs.
- In case that you're determined to use again, remember this: in your body is substance that cleaned it from drugs, but it amplifies effect of drugs at the same time. So, if you really have to use, use as little as you did on the first time when you took your drug. If you take the quantity that you took a few days ago - it will almost certainly kill you!
- For several months or years don't use hallucinogens. Trip can be greatly enhanced.
- It's recommended that you join a program of psychosocial rehabilitation, or you organise one for your support (family, friends that are non-users...).
5. THE REST
- Ibogaine is not medically tested.
- There are several deaths in connection with Ibogaine.
- Ibogaine is not a magic stick, which would make everything ideal; it's just a crutch, which helps you build your life anew. What kind of life will it be depends solely on you and your surroundings!
